UDHAMPUR: Up in arms against inadequate teaching staff,local villagers and Students of Government Higher Secondary School Keya Ramnagar in Udhampur district, today held a strong protest demonstration andblocked the road.

Amidst raising of slogans in support of their demand for adequate teaching staff in the school, the students boycotted the classes and took out rally with the support of locals villagers and blocked Ramnagar to Basantgarh Road.

They demanded deployment and posting of adequate teaching staff and Principal at this newly upgraded Winter Zone School where class 11th has been started without even a lecturer and lab facility. For the student's strength of about 200, there are only five teachers, who are running this Higher Secondary School without any Principal and Lecturer.

The School caters to an area of more than eight square kilometers but there is neither any lecturer to take classes nor any proper sitting arrangement for the students of class 11th, whose exams will be held in the month of November, this year.
